Was told to sit - twice. Few shoes on display. Given a catalogue to choose from. Put his hands to his head when I touched a display. Seemed upset that there were a few of us (who popped in on passing). Insulted me "don't panic", "relax" and other comments. (Since we had just come from a book launch, we couldn't have been more relaxed.)
I think he wants to give some kind of personalised service, but failed totally.
My daughter said it scared her as he kept leaning in to talk to her in a strange way. I think his hearing may be suffering. That's one family of 5 he totally alienated
In the end I walked out!
